We have already said a lot about iOS 15 over these months: many are still mistrustful of this version of the operating system, but little by little new nuances are opening up in it: not only does iOS 15 really contain many small chips and is future-oriented, but there is still no jailbreak for it. In general, jailbreak for iOS is a thing of bygone years.
Apple listens to users and makes its system more and more open so that pirated iOS is no longer meaningful on its own. Plus, iOS 15 is much more secure than previous versions. Here’s what you need to know about jailbreak iOS 15, or rather, why it is impossible.
Apple quickly released iOS 15.1 with bug fixes. And the release version of iOS 15 itself was quite solid: it fixed security bugs that were made in previous versions of iOS. If your iPhone has been updated to iOS 15 or iOS 15.1, then it is important to know if jailbreak is possible for this version: you will be surprised, but it is not possible.
There is hope for jailbreak iOS 15 or iOS 15.1, but they are extremely small. File system modifications are designed to prevent your smartphone from turning on. This means that offline protection should not modify system files
Jailbreak iOS 15
This means that developers will have to look for a new approach to jailbreak iOS 15. There is evidence on the web that there were attempts to jailbreak iOS 15.1 on the iPhone 12 Pro Max – the real right-up hacker tested an exploit that successfully unblocks the ability to write to kernel memory. This process makes it possible to download to a smartphone and execute arbitrary code for jailbreak or malicious hacking.
Unfortunately, at the moment the exploit cannot provide the ability to jailbreak or steal information. This suggests that iOS 15 is quite resistant to such processes – another reason to finally install it. So far, there is no evidence that it is possible to jailbreak iOS 15. In addition, over the years it has become increasingly difficult for developers to jailbreak iPhones.
Even for iOS 14.8, there is no jailbreak: in any case, hackers are in no hurry to spread information about weaknesses in iOS, otherwise, Apple will fix the problem in the next version. Moreover, from this year you have the opportunity not to go to the new iOS 15, but to stay on iOS 14 and receive security patches promptly.
How to jailbreak iOS 15
Although there were still no successful attempts to jailbreak iOS 15, there is still little hope for the emergence of a jailbreak for the new iOS. For example, if by some miracle you still have iOS 14 – iOS 14.3 installed on your iPhone, then you have the option to jailbreak.
Moreover, do not update your iPhone to new versions: if you want to jailbreak, then you need to do it with this particular version of iOS. At least until the next stable version of the jailbreak is available. Of course, if you are not particularly interested in this jailbreak topic, then feel free to update your iPhone to the latest version of iOS.
Should I jailbreak
Experimenting with gadgets is interesting. It was. Now, this is rather problematic entertainment. Firstly, the jailbreak will void the device warranty – if something happens, you will be left with your nose. In the US, AppleCare + won’t even save you. Secondly, all those third-party applications that end up on your iPhone from outside the App Store may pose a threat to your device. And you won’t get the current security updates from Apple that come with iOS updates either.
iPhone becomes more vulnerable. Thirdly, the jailbreak is a rather laborious process and must be done for every version of iOS that Apple releases. Accordingly, you will not be able to update a jailbroken iPhone until a jailbreak is released for the current version of iOS.
iOS has already become as open as possible, so there is no need for jailbreak. I once wrote that I do not customize my iPhone – many readers of our Telegram chat agreed with me. iOS is designed in such a way that you do not want to customize it, it is better to leave everything as it is – and so good.
In any case, the App Store is teeming with various applications for customizing the iPhone – you can “freak out” and remake iOS for yourself in legal ways. Do not forget about “Quick Commands”, which made the iPhone more versatile and allowed to create unusual scenarios for work in a variety of situations.
